Golden Spiral Yoga is a yoga program for inpatients at children's hospitals. Initiated in November 2009 by Pediatric Surgeon, Dr. Marshall Stone, the classes focus on yoga poses and breathing exercises. "While teaching the techniques for pain management and relaxation in relation to the acute medical challenge, the children also learn skills for future practice and well being." - Dr. Marshall Stone, M.D.
Golden Spiral Foundation, Inc. is currently working to bring Golden Spiral Yoga to more hospitals in South Florida. Our long term goal is to expand the program nationally.
